Cover Reveal—Darien 3!
I’m so excited that my first “official” blog post is a cover reveal! It is for the third book in my “Darien” middle-grade fantasy/adventure series: “Darien and the Moonlight Well.” Like the other two covers in the series, this was illustrated by my husband and creative partner, Craig.
I’m sorry, I can’t tell you what all the images mean—you’ll have to read the story for that!—but take a close look; there’s lots of fun stuff going on.

As the tale unfolds, will Darien finally discover the truth about her mysterious neighbor and the lady’s role in Telinoria’s tumultuous past? Can she overcome her resentments to find the patience she needs to repair the rift between herself and her cousin?
“Immerse yourself in the legends of old as Darien beholds the rise of a great evil,
Looking ahead
It seems like a long time since the first “Darien” book was released in 2014…sorry, guys! But looking forward, Book 3 is scheduled to be out this spring—the text is in the editing stages and illustrations are underway. Also, I’ve been hard at work on Book 4, planning, daydreaming, and actually writing the storyline. It may be the most complicated story yet, and I’m having to coordinate a lot of details to have different plot lines come together properly. Plus, there may be a secret twist AND clues to figure out. Whew! But I like a challenge and I hope you will enjoy the end results.
